Job Description

Hays Recruiting is hiring a Mechanical Engineer – R&D to join an innovative team developing components for electric vehicles.

You’ll focus on mechanical design, simulation, and testing of precision parts for next-gen EV drivetrains and battery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design mechanical components using SolidWorks or CATIA
  • Run simulations (thermal, structural, fatigue) and optimize parts
  • Collaborate with electrical and software engineers
  • Create technical documentation and validation plans
  • Support prototype assembly and lab testing

Your Profile:

  • 2–4 years in mechanical design or product development
  • Experience with CAD and FEA tools
  • Automotive or EV sector background preferred
  • English fluency; Portuguese is a plus
