Job Description
Hays Recruiting is recruiting a SOC Level 2 Analyst to join a European security operations center that protects digital infrastructure across finance, e-commerce, and public sectors.
This is a hands-on security monitoring and response role best suited for mid-level professionals experienced in real-time threat detection and mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network and system alerts using SIEM tools
- Conduct incident triage, analysis, containment, and remediation
- Perform root cause analysis and threat hunting tasks
- Collaborate with Level 1 SOC and engineering teams
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
Your Profile:
- 3+ years in a SOC environment or cybersecurity operations
- Familiarity with SIEM (e.g., Splunk), IDS/IPS, and firewalls
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, malware analysis, and digital forensics
- Strong communication in English; Portuguese is a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) are preferred
