Job Description

Hays Recruiting is hiring a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee vehicle fleet operations and driver performance for logistics across central Lisbon.

Ideal for managers with fleet logistics experience who excel in optimizing performance and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead fleet of drivers; manage daily routing and schedules
  • Monitor fuel use, maintenance, mileage, and compliance checks
  • Oversee driver performance and KPI targets (OTD, cost/mile)
  • Plan route optimization and implement safety programs
  • Control operational costs and maintain fleet logs

Your Profile

  • 3+ years in fleet or transport management
  • Experienced in route planning and driver supervision
  • Proficient in fleet management tools and KPIs
  • Strong leadership and budget oversight skills
  • Fluent in Portuguese; English knowledge beneficial
