Job Description

Our fintech client is hiring a Head of Compliance to oversee regulatory strategy, AML/KYC frameworks, and internal audit readiness. The role combines strategic vision with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead compliance risk assessments across EU jurisdictions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PSD2, MiFID II, and GDPR
  • Develop AML procedures and handle suspicious activity reporting
  • Liaise with regulators and external audit partners
  • Mentor junior compliance analysts

Your Profile

  • 8+ years in regulatory compliance or legal advisory within finance
  • Experience with fintech or digital payment systems preferred
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Portuguese legal framework beneficial
  • CAMS certification or equivalent a plus
